Triple Jump Fitness was created in 2012 with the vision of developing a pathway for families to “jump” from one fitness level to another based on age ranges and specific workout needs throughout their lives.
The concept was different from anything we had experienced before in our extensive fitness and personal training backgrounds, and we were excited to bring our own family-centered fitness philosophy to our clients.
She not only ran the class but had eyes and hands on our kids intermittently so we could relax and get a workout in.
Kim did a great job giving a total body workout while I was able to have my son there. She provided things for him to play with as well as having a safe environment for him to explore. Our family has been a client of Kim & Tim DeMado since 2006. I started training with Kim in 2006. She was my run coach for the Maine Marathon and I have continued to train with Kim and the run club ever since. I added 1-on-1 strength training with Tim in 2007 to correct some body imbalances and to become stronger and faster. In 2009 my two sons began training off-season with Tim to enhance/complement/prepare them for their high school soccer and baseball seasons. My younger son plays Division III soccer in college and continues to train with Tim during the summer. Kim and Tim are consistent, knowledgeable and motivating. They create customized workout plans just for me. I am always challenged to work my hardest, meet my goals and improve. Staying fit, strong & healthy are important goals for me and I can’t imagine tackling them without Kim & Tim. I highly recommend Kim & Tim DeMado and Triple Jump Fitness for helping you to achieve/guiding you to reach your fitness goals.

I have been to TJF every week for kids gymnastics and to workout for the past 2.5 years. As a stay-at-home parent, it is difficult to get a good workout in with two little kids, but FIt Family has been the perfect fit. As my kids have grown older and started school I have moved on to the Core Strength class which has given me a more strength focused class. Throughout all of this staff at TJF has made sure to tailor my workouts and weights to accommodate my specific needs. A few years ago I hurt my back to the point of almost needing surgery. Without my time at TJF I would not have been able to start running again or compete in multiple half-marathons and triathlons or take up mountain biking. Not only did the strength training help me stabilize my back injury, it also helped me PR in multiple races.

Our senior Leadership student, Andrew, began strength, nutrition and gymnastics training today at a great gym, Triple Jump Fitness. We were most impressed by the personal attention from its owners and trainers, the quality of the facility and equipment, as well as the sophistication of their individualized programming approach. I look forward to seeing what new and great things this training will bring to Andrew’s martial arts practice.

TJF is an amazing place to grow as an athlete and as a family. As a physical therapist, I feel confident in the skill and knowledge that Kim and Tim provide, while making good form a priority. My children and I have participated in the Fit Family Boot camp for 1 1/2 years. I have personally benefited from it physically and mentally, especially after two pregnancies. My kdis enjoy it too! I love hearing phrases like “mommy, look how strong I am.” and “Watch me exercise!” Kim’s work outs are always changing so you don’t get bored with your work-out and neither do your muscles. I have noticed significant improvements in my form and endurance in my various sports. I’m very pleased in the results! Both of my toddlers have participated in Kim’s Tumble Tikes programs, where their gross and fine motor skills have flourished.
We love that we have become a fit family!
Our family started at Triple Jump Fitness over three years ago when my wife went to her first family fit boot camp. She came home home from that class feeling invigorated about finding a place for the whole family to become fit. We now take classes, participate in run club, hold are kids birthday parties here, and train one on one with the trainers of TJF. We love that we have become a fit family through the help of the staff of TJF.
I wanted to kick it up a notch and increase my intensity and frequency…
The group classes are a great if you’re looking to start somewhere. The camaraderie is nice, people are supportive, classes are small, we have fun. A few months ago, I wanted to kick it up a notch and increase my intensity and frequency, so I added semi-private sessions with a fellow group member and train with Tim. I love it. He is so knowledgeable. I want to be pushed hard to see the most gains, but also don’t want to injure myself, so I always feel safe with Tim. He pushes my limits, but in a systematic manner that teaches me sustainable methods and is customized to me. I don’t have children, but recommend the kids classes as well that Kim teaches. It really is a gym for the whole family!
